For those who are 18 and older

     Hello, my name is John F. Bonnell, and I am reaching out to you with an important message. I want to assure you that this is not a request for money, nor is it a political ad. If anyone claims to be connected with the Collective Prayer Network (CPN) and asks for money or personal information, please know they are not affiliated with us.

     I used to be a bitter drunk when I was in the Air Force. One night in July 1983, I had a dream that my grandfather, who had died in February, came into my room and warned me that I was in a lot of trouble. I told him that I knew, but he insisted that I didn't fully understand. For the next three nights, I didn't have anything to drink. I couldn't get this dream out of my mind.

     On August 14, 1983, I asked Jesus into my life and asked Him to be my Lord and Savior, and to forgive me of my sins. As I grew in my relationship with Jesus, I realized that my dream about my grandfather's warning was not just about my drinking but about the wrath of God that is coming upon all sinners on the Day of Judgement.

​

     Today, I am a custodian at a college, and every day, I see students struggling with their identity, worried about their future, and battling anxiety and depression. They wonder if there is hope for the future. But very few of them are concerned about the Day of Judgment that Jesus has warned us about. Maybe that is why the Church is lacking power; we don't really understand or want to understand the wrath of God. So, we focus our attention on comforts, money, power, and happiness, instead of the one thing that Satan stole from God the Father by deceiving Adam and Eve—lost people. When humanity fell into sin, God didn't lose slaves but sons and daughters.

     In response, I am looking for a million Christians who are willing to pray for a Worldwide Great Awakening that will impact God's world with signs and wonders. Our goal is for Jesus Christ to receive the reward of His suffering by bringing a billion sons and daughters into His Kingdom. Through the ministry of prayer (praying for God's kingdom to come on earth as it is in Heaven) and the ministry of reconciliation ("Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us: we implore you on Christ’s behalf, be reconciled to God."), He wants to use us to bring them home. He wants to bless us with a Worldwide Great Awakening.

     If you believe that the only hope for our world is a Worldwide Great Awakening, and God has put it on your heart, would you please pray for a Worldwide Great Awakening? It could be a couple of minutes a day, a week, or He may ask you to skip a meal and pray. Would you be willing to make a commitment to God? Whatever God tells you to do, can you obey? Thank you, and together as God's children, we can bless God.

 For those who are 17 and younger

 

     If you are seventeen or younger, I would like to talk to you for a moment. The very first sermon I preached to my youth group was titled "You are the Church of Today, Not Tomorrow." Many people may have told you that you are the Church of tomorrow and the future, but God wants to use you today. John 17:3 says, "Now this is eternal life: that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent."

​

     Therefore, join the worship team, nursery, Vacation Bible School, Sunday School, sound room, maintenance department, or help clean the church building. Whatever you're interested in, as you see God move through you, watch Him use you to talk to your friends about Jesus.

To grow in your relationship with God and to know that you are not the Church of tomorrow, but God's Church of today, you must believe that God desires to use you and experience Him today. Obey God today, and it's in our obedience that we see God move in our lives and others.

Biblical Examples of Obedience

​

• Water changed to wine: Jesus said to them, “Fill the waterpots with water.” And they filled them to the brim. Then He said, “Draw some out now, and take it to the master of the feast.” When the master tasted the water that was made wine, he did not know where it came from (but the servants who drew the water knew). — John 2:7-9

• A blind man washed in the pool: Jesus spat on the ground, made clay with the saliva, anointed the eyes of the blind man with the clay, and said, “Go, wash in the pool of Siloam.” So he went and washed and came back seeing. — John 9:6-7

• Lepers show themselves to the priest: Jesus entered a village, and ten lepers, who stood afar off, lifted their voices and said, “Jesus, Master, have mercy on us!” He said, “Go, show yourselves to the priests.” As they went, they were cleansed. — Luke 17:11-19

     When each person obeys Jesus' word, God moves in their lives and situations.

Call to Action

​

     As a member of God's Church, I ask you to consider joining the Collective Prayer Network and pray that God will visit us with a Great Awakening, that people will see their need for Jesus. Please note that the Collective Prayer Network is not asking for money or personal information, just your time. Pray every time God puts it on your heart for a Great Awakening, and if He asks you to maybe fast (skip) a meal, do so if it's okay with your mom.

​

     Obey God and see how He moves in your prayers today. As you remain faithful to what God is telling you today, watch and see how He uses you tomorrow to do the impossible and build His Kingdom.
