Three Stages of Impacting God's World

1. A Great Awakening – The Holy Spirit Awakening His Church
Just as the Air Force employs "shock and awe" to subdue the enemy, so too can the church overcome spiritual forces through fervent and united prayer. Our prayers can tear down the veils of deception that blind the world to the truth of Jesus Christ. This awakening begins with an outpouring of the Holy Spirit, stirring the hearts of God’s people and revitalizing His church to stand boldly in faith. Phase one will be marked unmistakably when the Spirit moves mightily across nations, drawing many to repentance and faith.

2. The Church Reaching Out in the Ministry of Reconciliation
With hearts filled with worship, servant-like humility, and a deep grounding in God’s Word, the Church is called to carry the Gospel into the world. Like an advancing army, believers are to move forward boldly, sharing the message of reconciliation. Witnessing, baptizing, and teaching become our mission as we follow the prompting of the Holy Spirit to engage our neighbors, coworkers, and even those we might see as enemies.
As Associate Pastor Garth Heckman wisely observes, “Every great revival starts with biblical preaching in local churches. Returning to the Bible—understanding and living by its truths—is a precursor to revival.”

3. Driving Out the Enemy, Little by Little
When Israel entered the Promised Land, God promised to drive out their enemies incrementally, ensuring they could take possession of the land as they grew in strength and number:
"Little by little I will drive them out from before you, until you have increased and inherit the land" (Exodus 23:30).

While that generation faltered in faith, Moses reminded the next generation of God’s continued promise:
"The Lord your God will drive out those nations before you little by little; you will be unable to destroy them at once… But the Lord your God will deliver them over to you… no one shall be able to stand against you until you have destroyed them" (Deuteronomy 7:22–24).

In the same way, God strengthens His people today to stand against spiritual forces and systems of evil. As we grow in maturity and obedience, He equips us to confront and dismantle the influence of destructive forces that permeate various spheres of society, including the Church, Family, Education, Media, Government, Business, Science, Technology, and Entertainment.

It begins with the outpouring of God’s Spirit and progresses as we become faithful and courageous men and women of God. Through His power, the strongholds of the enemy are overcome, and the influence of the Jezebel spirit is driven out, leading to the restoration of God’s order and glory in His world.
